The committee is reponsible for all adult faith formation, religious education & spritual growth opportunities for our parish.

Committee Responsiblities:

Men's and Womens Retreats at San Alfonso's retreat house in Long Branch NJ. The Retreats are for a full weekend and occurs once a year. We also provide 1-Day retreats when possible. Tom Cooney sets up the Men's retreat, Marion Maloney sets up the Women's retreat with the help of a small committee.

Lenten and Fall Faith Sharing Groups - responsible for setting up calendar for each season and communicating information to the parish as well as setting up groups once sign-in forms are received. The committee speaks at the Masses prior to each faith sharing season (Fall and Lent)

Parish Missions - The committee determines when the mission will take place and attempt to schedule one (1) mission each year - either at Precious Blood Church or St. Dorothea's.

Pre-Cana Training - Pre-Cana is a Catholic marriage preparation program for couples who plan to marry in the church. This program is run by Steve & Dee Bulvanoski. They offer training twice a year. All Pre-Cana classes are scheduled through the Parish Office.

OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (previously called RCIA) This is an important process for adults who want to become Catholic. They learn about the Catholic Church's belief & Liturgy and prepare to receive the sacraments of initiation. The members of our OCIA committee are Steve Bulvan7oski and Monte Edwards.

Rainbows Program - This support group is for families that have experienced loss through death, illness, divorce or separation. The committee oversees this program but does not run the program. Program Directors are Carol Colao 732-841-8456 and John DiGiovanni 908-433-8065.

Parish Spritual Library - Maintaining the Spiritual Library located in the St. Francis room.

Labyrinth - Maintaining the Labyrinth located outside by the north end of the Parish Center.
