  2. Blessing Bag Brigade

    Three scheduled collections during the calendar year support The Blessing Bag Brigade NJ, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to showing compassion and humanitarianism towards the homeless.

  3. Family Promise

    Family promise’s MISSION IS TO HELP HOMELESS AND LOW-INCOME FAMILIES ACHIEVE SUSTAINABLE INDEPENDENCE THROUGH A COMMUNITY-BASED RESPONSE. Church of the Precious Blood hosts families five times a year. Parishioners volunteer giving their time, making meals, and sharing hospitality.

  4. Diaper Drive

    Diapers and baby supplies are collected twice a year for agencies that support mothers and babies in need of assistance. Baptismal Gifts received
    at each scheduled Baptism are also donated to the agencies.


  5. Rainbows for All Children

    Rainbows for All Children (Rainbows) is dedicated to being the premier source of support for all youth as they navigate grief and heal from loss, whether from death, divorce, deployment, or other trauma. There are three sessions per year: Autumn, Winter/Spring, and Summer.

  7. Stamp Out Despair/First Friends of NJ and NY

    First Friends of NJ and NY upholds the inherent dignity and humanity of detained immigrants and asylum seekers. They provide compassion and hope through volunteer visitation, resettlement assistance and advocacy. Stamp Out Despair is a donation program of stationery and stamps that assists detained immigrants and asylum seekers commute with the outside world.


  8. Holy Thursday Collection

    COHORT Blood Drives in Parish Center. Supports organizations that save lives by providing safe, high-quality blood products and services to patients in need.

  12. Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk
    Program Leader: Religious Ed Director
    Annual walking event held in Red Bank, NJ each fall. Sponsored CROP Hunger Walkers walk to help end hunger.

  13. Jesse Tree

  14. Haiti Project

    Seasonal events and fund raisers that help support our sister parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lasserre, Haiti.


  15. Groupo Manhattan

    Bi-annual presentation and collection to support Grupo Manhattan,
    A NYC based DDA group. Drug Addicts Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who have recovered from addiction and are committed to helping those who still suffer. 

Role of the Chairperson:

The chairperson is responsible for overseeing the coordination of calendar dates for each project and program. The chairperson helps support project and program leaders when needed. The chairperson communicates with parish Pastor and office staff and reports to the parish council and shares current and updated information. During COVID-19 most programs were modified or canceled based on CDC and Diocesan/Parish directives.
