Education Committee

Here at the Church of the Precious Blood, due to the pandemic all classes during the past year were accomplished in a virtual manner.  We used Sadlier’s “Christ in Us” Curriculum as well as their software portal for Grades 1 through 6.  

For our Confirmation Classes Grades 7 and 8 we used Dynamic Catholic’s “Decision Point” videos and book.  These grades also used Google Classroom to communicate with their teachers.

For Pre-K and K, we supplied the families with needed Arts and Crafts supplies and designs for constructing Biblical scenes. In addition, we used the Family Life Series for Grades K through 8.  The books were mailed home.

Our students come from the following surrounding towns: Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Long Branch, West Long Branch, Tinton Falls, Shrewsbury, Eatontown, Avon by the Sea, Little Silver, and Rumson.

Last Year we had a total of 230 students, all virtual.

30 First Communion (including 2 from last year who postponed because of covid)

50 Confirmations (also including 2 from last year)

The Sacraments will be celebrated this Summer.

Our Tuition and fees for the Religious Education families is as follows:

1 child- $125.00

2 children- $225.00

3 children- cap at $300.00

We charge a $75.00 per child sacramental fee that is in addition to the tuition.
