Youth Ministry

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith and your purity.” (1 Tim 4:12)

Mission Statement:

To help empower our youth as disciples, to help them grow personally and spiritually and to draw youth into active participation in the mission of the parish community.  In an environment of love, acceptance and support, to offer teenagers opportunities to realize their unique gifts through service and outreach to others.  To challenge our youth to look beyond culturally defined standards for success and meaning. 

Vision Statement:

The youth ministry at Precious Blood is devoted to the spiritual growth of teenagers in the context of their relationship with God, others and self.

Our Summer 2018 Mission Trip experience!

Plans are set for our next mission trip, which will be a “next level” camp through Catholic Heart WorkCamp.  Teens and adults will travel to Boston, Mass in June and will actively “serve the least of these” (Matt 25:40).  Members of our youth along with their adult chaperones will experience an intense week of service to others and faith-building opportunities.  During the week they will repair homes, painted, work in a food pantry, serve the homeless and interact with disadvantaged children.
